These bots have shallow search and incomplete positional judgment. Use this space to investigate weaknesses, not as a strength benchmark.

HiveLab is a new, hand-tuned search bot. Sliders change its evaluation and exploration; they do not train a neural network. Templates are immutable: save changes as a new bot. Each game uses up to three search plies and approximately 180 ms per move on this device. Timing can affect reproducibility; the seed controls exploration.
Ratings start at 1200, with Elo K=24, within your personal pool only. They cannot be compared to hivegame.com ratings. No learning happens automatically. Only completed wins and draws affect ratings; games capped at 240 plies remain unrated. Results come from browser-run games and are server-validated for legal play, not independently verified bot identity.

Dotted hexes differ between boards. Counts describe each position; they are not win probabilities. Compare lines at the same ply for a fairer assessment.
Use the screenshot as a reference and enter its pieces on the hex grid. Bug recognition is manual. Add covered pieces first, then enable “Stack” for the piece above.
Screenshots cannot reveal hidden pieces or move history. Setups support local moves, overlays and finish searches; Nokamute and online play require a complete game history.
